One of the basic responsibilities of civilized societies and governments all over the world is to provide education and health facilities. If we have a look at the prosperity of a developed country, the basic motive behind this prosperity is faced with a lot of social, economic and political problems and the reason is our defective education system. Unluckily, the education system we were introduced was not able to produce capable persons. Rather we are facing a class system on economic basis. That economic division has also divided our education system into classes. One of our education systems is producing elite class of rulers and officers and the other is producing a large number of unemployed people, who can get a low leveled job if luckily able to get it. The result is that our education system is not playing any effective role due to lack of proper planning. A bitter reality also exists about our existing education system and that is deprivation of most of our children of education. Millions of children are far from education only in Punjab. On the other hand private sector who is sharing 70% burden of our education is always facing different threats, in the form of taxes, laws and legal offences. We, the private sector are never ready to accept the illegal attacks of govt. to finish private education sector. For this all the private schools of Pakistan will have to unite on a platform and use all the available resources to cope with education enemy policies. Gujranwala Chamber of Education Schools (Regd) will fulfill all responsibilities in this connection.
